Holiday time

I am officially in my holiday mode! Just ended my last paper few hours ago. Though I think it wasn't that well done, I am glad it is over. Nearly vomited blood while studying for that paper. Ok, don't want to talk about it anymore.

Will have to start shifting my stuffs back home from my hall. Anyone wanna help??

I have one more week before my internship starts on the 7 May. Going to enjoy myself this week. Anyone got any programs do let me know yea?

Last?

My last paper is on Monday. I have 4 more days to study. After that, it probably means the end to my hall life. Yea, you can say I am pretty sad for a few reasons.

I want to keep this short even though I have lots of thoughts. By now you should have realised that I dun reveal much about my inner self here. I am sorry, that's just me. For those who are close to me, I am more than willing to share with you my thoughts if you asked.

I am late.

A Familiar Feeling

I have almost forgotten how it feels...

And even though the exam is not over, trixie has already asked me to organise a drinking session, yw has jioed me for mj and andy clubbing. So happening ah.... wait till my exam finish la..

I hate to say this but hall life is ending soon.. so sad..

Tough times

Not able to update my blog so regularly as before. Exam is coming in just a week.

Going through a rather difficult time here. Trying to get information into my head and it doesn't seem easy at all. And I can't concentrate fully these days. This is not going to be efficient.

Japanese food

I am not going to talk about Japanese food here. Rather, it is titled due to the fact that I have been eating Japanese food for the past 2 nights.

Went to Sakura with td on mon night. It is a very isolated and inaccessible place near NUS. Dinner was 24 bucks buffet style. It was his treat for my help in the sale of macho nachos. The food was not bad and there wasn't a lot of people during weekdays. Had a good dinner over there.

Tuesday night. Went out with td, missLin and pin to celebrate missLin's bdae. Ate at sakae suntec. Was treated to ice cream later on and went up mt faber for a spin. It was a great night I must say. And I think all of us enjoyed it. Lots of photos were taken but I have not receive them yet. Still deciding whether to post them up here. Better not la.. later it creates a stir.. haha.

Going to take a nap now. Suppose to go for a swim, but it is raining heavily now. I will play squash later then.

Time to study

Yes, exam is starting in less than 2 weeks time. Time to study not mug. According to the dictionary, "mug" means: Rob at gunpoint or with the threat of violence. Now who was the one who came up with the link between mugging and studying? Totally unrelated. But it sounds cool. So I guess it is all right for us muggles to use the word.

Anyway, got to know this program called wordweb through Dave. Click here for more. It is a free thesaurus dictionary. Not only does it tell you the meaning of the word you are looking for(noun and verb), it also provide you with its synonyms and sometimes how it can be used. The best thing is after you have installed it, you can check the meaning of any words you come across online by pressing ctrl and right clicking the mouse on the word. Simply awesome.

Have been staying home for the past few days since it was Good Friday. I have no lesson tml but I will return to hall in the afternoon. Time to gear up the engine, I guess I have already warmed up these few days. So it will be good to go out in full force.

Reader's Digest

Have been reading this volume given by the welfare comm of my hall. Must admit I enjoyed it. Now some extracts for you to laugh about:

1) It's been five years since my last eye exam. I knew it was time for another as my vision was getting fuzzier. The eye doctor's receptionist gave me a form and one question reads, "Reason for visiting." I couldn't resist. I wrote, "Long time no see."

2) On the first day of her vacation, a colleague of mine fell and broke her leg. As the doctor examined her, she whined,"Why couldn't this happen have happened on my last day of skiing?" He looked up. "This is your last day of skiing."

3)"What should I do?" wailed a panicked client to the receptionist at our vet's office. "My dog's just eaten two bags of unpopped popcorn!" Clearly, not as alarmed as the worried pet owner, the receptionist responded coolly, "Well, the first thing I would do is keep him out of the sun."

There are some other touching stories in the book as well. Those with this book should really read it to de-stress!!

Transition

Now this week seems to be a busy one for all. Deadlines, mugging for exams etc. You can almost feel the change in atmosphere. Well, I guess I will be embarking on my mugger quest too.

Just received 2 goodies bags from welfare and block comm. There are really quite a lot of stuffs inside. Magazines, books, pens, sweets, food, drinks etc. Not too bad.

My working week is officially over since I have no class on Thurs and Fri is a Good one. Haha, very tempting to enjoy this long weekend. However, I need to prepare for my exams really. Time is running...

Well, I don't think I will have many updates during this period. It is going to be a tough month. Everyone hang in there. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. All the best!

April's Fool

Now, how many of you have realised that it was April's Fool day yesterday? I didn't until yesterday night when 2 of my friends pull a trick on me. Coincidentally, they are all from my EE3001 group. Joyce told me she sprained her ankle and might not be able to recover on time for the presentation in 3 weeks time. I was wondering 3 weeks is a long time and she would have recover by then. Anyway, I only realise the prank at night when I asked her the condition of her leg.

The next amazing thing came later in the night as well. Another of our group member, Nafiur, uploaded a file saying that the lecturer had sent him the individual assessment marks. He mentioned that not all of us did well and even suggested that we bring it up to the lecturer to justify our marks. Holly shit. I think almost all the group members who saw that mail was caught off guard when we open the file. April's Fool with a big cartoon on it. That was a good one.

Now, how many of you pulled some pranks on your friends? Or were you the victim as well?

Anyway, I have increased the font size of my blog and changed the font as well. Miss Lin complained that she cannot see the words clearly. There you go, hope it is easier for all to read.
