In this sophisticated world, one often finds oneself in a struggle with power, fame, money,
attention and many other unnecessary entities of life. I seek to find a simple life, uncomplicated
yet meaningful. A lot more important elements of life are waiting to be discovered. Live your life to the fullest.

A Close Brush With Death
It has been ages since I last blogged. People who knew what happen should know that I have been hospitalised in TTSH for about a week. Now that I am back at home, I think I should at least update all about what actually happen. It was Nov 3 Sat afternoon when I was at my tuition kid house giving tuition. I felt a sudden pain in my left face, which I thought was just a headache. I rested for a while but numbness set upon my left face. I quickly asked my student to call for the ambulance while I lie down on the sofa waiting. Everything after that was a whirl. I was admitted to the ICU of TTSH where they did all the scan and testing. Up till now, they are still unsure of the cause. They found out that one of the blood vessel in my left brain leaked blood and left a clot there. Now, they just have to wait for the clot to disappear naturally and do a scan again this dec. I am feeling much better now, less for a bit of numbness in my left face and left ear is a bit blocked with some ringing sound. It is quite irritating. I think I might have been lucky in some sense not to lose any functions of my body. I hope time will heal all wounds. I am a bit slow in my typing now, so I won't be blogging till after my exam. Forgive me if I never reply in msn or sms. Lastly, thanks to all my friends and relatives who came down to visit me and send their regards. Sorry I am too tired to name all of you here. You know who you are and I thank you for your well wishes. Do not worry too much for me. I will be back soon... I promise. Until then, take care and see ya! TOP OF PAGE |
