I wonder if you have seen the movie Anna and the King? No, it is not related to Alice. Like I say, it is just a movie's name. The movie was terrible, Alice fell asleep during the movie or was it due to the chalet before hand?

Many years back, Alice and xiao xin were classmates back in their secondary school. Like I say, names have been changed to protect innocent parties. Their secondary school was definitely not in Yishun like mine and definitely not YTSS. It is just a story, fiction, you know.. not true.. make up one. Get the idea?

Alice wasn't that bright a student back then, but she was hardworking. Xiao xin was also not very smart but slightly better than Alice. (Please dun complain first, that's how the story goes ma...) He was also very hardworking fyi.

Alice and xx sat beside each other during class but the people around him including Alice always bully him. A poor chap.. but nice at heart.. he forgave them all. Even helping them out when they have problems in their work.

Back then, there wasn't any hanphones and pagars were not so common yet. Most communication was still done through house phones. A far cry from now right? When is the last time your house phone rang and it is for you?

Alice often called xx after school to ask him for advice. Not about how one should lead life blah blah, they were so young then and knew nothing about these. It was mostly about school work. I wonder why xx always help her since she keep ganging up with others in class to bully him. Guess he was too kind hearted. She called so often until xx' mum knew from the phone's ringing tune that it was her. Kidding.. there is caller ID back then. Xx is thinking of getting consulation fees from Alice now that the economy is so bad and a pay cut might happen anytime soon. Alice... prepare to receive the lawyer's letter.

Somehow... I dunnoe why.. both of them ended up working in the same restaurant after their O level. It was tough, you have to wake up really early and xx was constantly being scolded for doing the wrong things. I guess the knowledge in text books can't be applied easily in real world. Alice was doing quite all right, other than the spilling of water over a customer. I wonder if she has gotten over the shock yet. But I guess she learned a lot from the experience and became stronger in character.

Ok, so they did become closer.. no prize for guessing what happen to them after that. All xx said to me was that a christmas card was involved.. that's the start. The ending involves a certain bus interchange. And he remembers the exact location and what happened back then. Xx is thinking of sueing her for the emotional pain caused and the phobia inflicted in him with regards to future usage of the interchange located somewhere north of Singapore. Nope, it is definitely not the Yishun one, although it is pretty near my place. It is a story my goodness.

Ok, so that part was boring for you guys, so I am going to fast foward a little bit. Few years pass by and everyone started working and lifestyle changed.

It is all about beer and chill out..

Well, time flies... xx's first love is getting married but the groom is not him.. he only has one word to say....

Lol, just for laugh folks. Names and locations have been cleverly changed and it takes a sage to figure them out. So no worries..
