A Hot Sunday Afternoon
The weather is very weird recently. Sometimes it rains heavily in the afternoon, and some other days it is just madness hot, like today. Coupled by the fact that I played MJ till early in the morning, I practically sleep the whole day. The only consolation is that I am slightly richer after the MJ session. Jolyn was telling me about enjoyment of life the other day. People worked so hard and saved so much. But do we even enjoy our life? The definition varies across the different walk of life. People talked about work life balance nowadays. 5 work-days is almost a norm now. Work hard play hard. It is hard to list down what I mean by enjoying life, quantify it, comes up with a certain set of criteria. Just don't torture yourself, do things which you want to do, buy things which you have been aiming for (a long time), go travelling, eat good food etc. Speaking of good food, I think it is time to visit some of the places I haven been wanting to go to. For me: tennis, gym, salsa, mj (occasionally), meeting up with friends and J probably sums up my leisure life now. For now. TOP OF PAGE |
