Marley and Me
Just saw this movie yesterday. No prize for guessing who I watched with. Anyway, I feel that the show was kind of sad, although not particularly my type of movies, but it did provoke some thinking on my part, my life as a whole. It is definitely not easy to own a pet. Taking care of it is already one big challenge. And you might have to deal with its departure as in the movie, the kind of emotional attachment and detachment one has to undergo is just too much to handle. And then today I went for my friend Edward and Angel's wedding. Really nice to see them finally tying the knot after so many years, since the army days? Wow.. really a very long duration. Finally I concluded that I am getting into my next stage of life. So fast? Not quite ready to be honest. Taking up these responsibilities isn't an easy task. I still feel so ignorant of so many things. So I tell myself, if I am to move on to the next stage in life, I will be properly prepared before I do so. Lastly, to the couple: May bliss and happiness stay with you always. TOP OF PAGE |
